EDUCATIONAL FIELD TRIPS

Let us show you, what Düsseldorf and its surroundings have to offer, when it comes to Sport for All projects. Be sure to tag along on our Educational Field Trips on November 3rd during the Congress Week. We offer 3 Field Trips to exciting Sport for All Best Practice examples.

Field Trip to Landscape Park Duisburg-Nord

The Landscape Park ("Landschaftspark") Duisburg-Nord is one of the most popular natural and cultural landscapes in North Rhine-Westphalia. It is an excellent example of Active Spaces, a place to get moving that was formerly not intended - todays focus lies on leisure, recreation and sport. The park is perfectly set up to be discovered by bike or on foot. It also offers exceptional opportunities for climbing, active play on playgrounds and even scuba diving. And it doesn’t stop there – it is also a great venue for Senior and Youth performance sports as it can be transformed into a unique sport event set up.

On this tour you’ll be exploring the interplay between the history of the ironworks on the one hand and a bustling place for cultural and sports on the other.
